The Rev. Whis Hays is the founder and current Executive Director of Rock the World Youth Mission Alliance. (His permanent title is Director Emeritus.) He has been in student ministry since 1972 as a layman and as a priest, and as both a volunteer and a professional. From 1991-2006, as part of his ministry at Rock the World he taught Youth Ministry, Evangelism, and Missions at Trinity School for Ministry, serving there as Associate Professor of Youth Ministry and Assistant Director of the Stanway Institute. Prior to his service with Rock the World, he has served in parishes, summer camps and university chaplaincy. He is married to the Rev. Canon Dr. Mary Maggard Hays who has put up with him ever since they married in 1974. They have two adult children who continue to follow Jesus.
Alyssa Myrie, Josiah Project Director. A graduate of JP Team 12 (2002-3), Alyssa has served as Mentor Coordinator at Young Life Green Bay since June 2018, working with middle and high school students with risk factors. She worked in social services 2011-18, serving youth and young families. Before moving back to WI in January 2011, she and her husband, Omar, served on staff for Youth With A Mission- Belize. Alyssa and Omar have been married for 15 years and together have 2 energetic, intelligent, hilarious sons- Elias & Eliot. As a family, they celebrate their Caribbean heritage and the cultures that enrich this world. "God is wonderfully creative and there is so much to learn!"
Elizabeth Ames-McCrimmon, Bookkeeper. Elizabeth has worked as a bookkeeper for three years for both nonprofit and for profit groups. She has previously worked in general management, sales, and administration. Recently, she graduated from Trinity School for Ministry with her Masters of Divinity and is in the process of discerning where and how God is calling her to use this degree. For now, she is excited to use her bookkeeping skills with Rock the World. When she isn't working she is most often found reading in a cozy corner, trying out a new recipe in the kitchen, visiting a new used bookshop, or unpacking intriguing theological threads with her husband Ben (a graduate and current student of Trinity School for Ministry).
