If you were (or are) in a Rock the World core training program, you and your family/significant others are also invited to the 2-day pre-party and after-party!
We chose the Family Retreat Center because it's kid-friendly and recreation-friendly as well as having new, clean cabins and meeting spaces -- and it's CHEAP!!!
WHAT WE'LL BE DOING. We surveyed a lot of Rock the World's grads (sorry if we missed you!) and the overwhelming majority didn't want an outside speaker, big program, etc. Almost everyone just wanted a time to hear what God was doing in one another's lives and ministries.
There was also a strong interest in hearing from other alums who are discovering new things about God and His work in the world. This could be stuff you've discovered in the Bible, research from a doctoral degree, lessons learned about the character of God from being a parent, etc. So if you've got something you want to share, come prepared to share it! And try to let us know if it's complicated, like if we need a 70mm film projector.
Of course we'll be going the party on Friday night - it's at the same place. But the Tribal Gathering runs from Thursday afternoon through lunch on Saturday.
COST: Room and board for Thursday dinner - Saturday Lunch = $140/adult, $70/child 2-11, children under 2 are free. If you can only be there part of the time, let us know and we'll adjust the price. Also let us know if you need "scholarship" aid in order to participate.
