Discipleship group

As the young graduates of the AYI Sports and Arts Camp grew older and more      mature, many desired to serve the younger kids in their town.  In response to this   desire AYI created a discipleship program to educate, encourage & empower these young leaders.  

The discipleship program follows a precedent set by Jesus.  Throughout the gospels we see Jesus spending a lot of time with his disciples, especially Peter, James and John.  Jesus was pouring Himself into these three men more than anyone else with whom He into contact.

AYI reflects the discipleship ministry of Jesus.  AYI keeps our discipleship groups intentionally small so that the leaders can more purposefully disciple each young    person.  This prepares the young leaders to create discipleship ministries of their own.
