Why ???

Rock the World exists to multiply young Christian leaders who will turn our world upside-down for the Kingdom of God! Our name derives from the Greek text of Acts 17:6 where Paul and his companions are accused of being "world-upside-down-turners." Their alleged disruptive behavior? Just following Jesus and inviting others to do the same. All this fits who we are -- including the fact that a 22-year-old came up with our name. Why do we have a passion for young people?

1. Because God does. From Josiah to Jeremiah to David to Mary to John to Timothy, God has always used young people to advance his Kingdom in profound ways!
2. Because they are ready. Young people are at the point in their lives where they are most open to making radical commitments and decisions that will put them on a trajectory to living their entire lives for God's glory!
3. Because its strategic. As the world's population grows, the world is getting younger. The majority of those who still don't know Jesus are young. Because of the rise of a global youth culture, some of the most effective people to make connections with unreached young people are believing young people!
